The galaxy is in ruins.
The Tenno were once the masters of the Milky Way, alongside the ancient Orokin. Then, just before the Old War, they were put into cryosleep...
They woke up to a changed galaxy - moons thrown off their orbits or transformed to huge asteroids, planets completely terraformed, derelict ships floating around blocking conventional entries... and most worringly, new enemies. All across the Milky Way's major planets and planetoids are the strongholds of the Grineer Empire, the Corpus, and the Infested. This is the Solar System - this is just the first step.
Now, you, Tenno, have to take up arms and try your best to throw off the balance of the fight to your favor. Explore the plantets one by one, and get back the galaxy to its rightful heirs.
-
Mercury
A Grineer planet stationed to keep an eye on the last Orokin Tower in the Milky Way. Asteroid Bases and Galleons litter the surrounding area. Here you will face Captain Vor.
-
Venus
What was once the hottest planet in the system has been terraformed into a frigid world by the Corpus. Hidden inside a nearby ship is the prototype Jackal.
-
Earth
Once humanity's home, now the seat of the Grineer Empire in the system. Now completely devoid of green, years of abuse by the empire has left it barren and radioactive. Within an asteroid base is its guardian, Council Vay Hek.
- Saturn
A flock of Grineer Galleons surround this planet at all times. Inside one is the renowned artifact hunter General Sargas Ruk, waiting for the Tenno to try and kill him.
- Sedna
Hundreds of years ago, Sedna was a heavenly body even nearer than Mercury. Somehow, the Grineer have managed to throw it off its own orbit, and consequently made it barren of all resources. What remains are their Galleons and Asteroids, and the vicious Kela de Thaym leads this fleet.
- Mars
Another planet turned to ice by the Corpus. Martian facilities are overseen by Sergeant Nef Anyo, but his interest in Tenno cryopods has made him and the planet a prime target.
- Uranus
Home to Tyl Regor, the Grineer's leading geneticist, whose mission is to find a way to keep cloning the Grineer without the side effect of deterioriation. The entire planet's dedication to his cause has marked the planet for reclaiming.
- Neptune
Inside lies the first pack of Hyenas, an improved version of the Jackal. Taking the planet is imperative to keep the Tenno safe.
- Phobos
What was once a moon of Mars has been left barren and is now a huge desert. Home to the Grineer Settlements... and a mysterious boss which not even Lotus knows initially.
- Jupiter
Surrounding this gas planet are various Infested filled ships of Corpus, Grineer and Orokin origin. This Orokin ship particularly important - inside is a twisted amalgam of different species, all assimilated into one, named the J3-Golem.
- Ceres
The infamous Lieutenant Lech Kril trains Grineer in this planet.
- Pluto
The deadly MOA Ambulas roams the Corpus base in this planet.
- Eris
Within the ruined ships and asteroids lies the most nightmarish Infested yet - Phorid.
