The mutated, twisted Infested
These things are Corpus crewmen, Grineer Lancers and Orokin all infected by the ancient technocyte virus. Unlike a typical zombie, Technocyte requires the host to be alive and to continue living as it changes the host's anatomy as needed. They are literally numberless; the more the Grineer and Corpus try to take back lost territory, the more their numbers swell.
The Basic Infested

Chargers
Twisted shadows of Grineer Lancers, mutated to a canine like form. They're quite speedy, and each attack has a chance to stagger. Weak to slashing damage; bring your swords.

Runners
Crewmen mutated to explode near enemies. Despite the name, is moderately speedy, but each explosion staggers for sure. Most weapons also cause them to blow up upon death, with the same damage and stagger properties; throwing weapons, snipers and melee weapons cause them to die normally.

Leapers
Yet another infested crewman, this time mutated to leap and knock down the nearest enemy. Runs at the same speed as a Runner. Nothing spectacular beyond their jumps.
- Crawlers
Crewmen that barely survived the virus' mutation, now only crawls along the ground. Very, very slow, and very, very weak, these Infested are the last priority in a fight; has three variants: the normal Crawler, Noxious, and Nauseous.
- Ancients
Orokin infested by their own creation... Now, they serve as the heaviest Infested unit, with extremely potent knockdown strikes. Comes in three types: the shield draining Disruptors, the deadly Toxics and the Healer.
The Bosses
- J3-Golem
A glorified Runner/Leaper. Has deadly poison attacks, which bypass shields entirely. Is currently being reworked, but for now drops parts for Volt. Go to Themisto, Jupiter if you're not afraid.
- Phorid
A huge Charger. Not too hard, but its health is the highest among any boss; and any Tenno who try to stay far away get a tast of its poison quills, capable of killing Tenno with just one barrage. Holds the Nyx parts, and calls Naeglar, Eris home.
